If you post your name in the comment section or email me, I will do the following:
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you which song or movie you remind me of.
3. I'll pick a kind of alcoholic beverage to share with you.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
(if possible. if not, I'll say something that only makes sense to me.)
5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you.

yes.

1. I love it when you write on envelopes - I think I still have every one you sent me somewhere.
2. Batman Forever. Oh, goodness.
3. Gin and tonic. Don't know why, just popped into my head.
4. Hee Hee Hoo. (as far as I know, anyway)
5. You have a better memory than me. I got nothin' from our littlest days. First strong memory of you is your long yellow knit dress and sandals.
6. Monkeys. Not because you look like them, but because you draw them so well.
7. Do you love being tall or does it just seem like it? How did you learn to love it? I always admired your height more than my own... weird.
nothing about introversion is lame! It just begs to be nurtured and is often not- at least not to the full extent that is called for.
In response to your question:
Yes, I love being tall. I like standing out, I like feeling womanly, I like heads turning. There is the annoying stuff, you know, the "do you play basketball?" (Sheesh, aren't we done with that one yet?) In my family, I never felt insecure about my size. Small pockets of time excluded, I have always felt good about my appearance. Exercise is the most helpful thing, and enjoying the clothes that I wear, even if they're mostly casual. I honestly feel pretty sexy most days, and I give myself a lot more grace on the days when I don't. It's cyclical, as are most things with women.
You are a lovely woman. You just have to believe it.
hugs,
Beth
